About Us

The church of Christ in Briar is a congregation of the Lord's church dedicated to spreading the true word of God as delivered by Jesus Christ and His Apostles. Our beleifs and worship practices are derived and directed solely by the contents of the New Testament. We have no creed other than the word of God and we are autonomous in nature.

Our goal is to fulfill the Great Commission [Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15] as spoken by our Savior. All mankind look for peace in their life and a life enriched by the word of God and full of His blessings is the only way to find that true peace [Philippians 4:7].

The church in Briar is comprised of loving and caring individuals who strive to make the Lord's work the number one priority in their life. In the process of such they care for the needs of each other and those of the surrounding community thereby upholding their responsiblity of the outpouring of love on all mankind [Galatians 6:10]. We are led by three faithful, godly men who serve as Shepherds to the congregation. They are ordained by God through scripture and guide the flock through the teaching of the Bible. We also have three men who serve as Deacons for the local congregation. What you find in the church of Christ at Briar is a Biblical pattern for leadership, worship and service; all designed to reach the lost and help those in need.

We hope that you will make the time to come visit us and join us in the search for a better life, both here and eternally. If there is anything we can do to aid you in this search feel free to call or visit the 'Contact Us' page and send us a message.
